The Kings announced the formal signings of veterans Omri Casspi and Ryan Hollins today.
Casspi, the Kings’ first-round draft pick in 2009, averaged 9.5 points and 3.4 rebounds for the Kings before being traded to Cleveland after his second season. After two seasons in Cleveland, he played last season in Houston. He averaged 6.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 71 games with the Rockets.
In his four NBA seasons, Casspi, a 6-foot-9 forward, has averaged 7.7 points and 3.8 rebounds.
Hollins, a 7-foot center, has played for six NBA teams in his eight NBA seasons. He averaged 2.3 points and 1.5 rebounds in 7.9 minutes for the Los Angeles Clippers last season.

The Kings opening training camp for the 2014-15 season on Sept. 27.
Their first preseason game is Oct. 5 against the Toronto Raptors in Vancouver, and their first home preseason game is Oct. 7 against the Raptors at Sleep Train Arena. They then travel to China to play the Brooklyn Nets on Oct. 11 in Shangahi and Oct. 15 in Beijing.
They open the regular season on Oct. 29 at home against the Golden State Warriors.
