NBA league sources told The Vertical that guard Ty Lawson agreed to a one-year contract with the Kings on Sunday.

Lawson appeared to confirm the signing on Twitter, with an image of him in a Kings jersey appearing as his profile picture and a tweet to “Sac-town.”

Lawson started last season with Houston, but agreed to a buyout with the Rockets in March. He finished the season with Indiana.

Lawson averaged 5.7 points and 3.6 assists per game last season. For his career, he has averaged 13.1 points and 6.2 assists. In the 2013-14 season, he averaged 17.6 points and 8.8 assists for Denver. The next season he averaged 15.2 points and 9.6 assists for the Nuggets.
