Player of the game: Darren Collison had 22 points and eight assists as the Kings won their third consecutive preseason game, 124-119, over the Washington Wizards on Saturday night at the University of Kentucky’s Rupp Arena.
Turning point: Collison made back-to-back three pointers late in the third quarter to give Sacramento a 97-90 lead entering the fourth, during which the teams sat most of their key players.
X-factor: Omri Casspi had 16 points for the Kings in 22 minutes. With Rudy Gay resting, Casspi was the primary small forward.
Injuries: Garrett Temple (sore back).
