Lillard comes up big as Blazers hold off Kings in OT, 122-120

Player of the game: Damian Lillard scored 36 points and added seven assists as the Portland Trail Blazers held on for a 122-120 overtime win over the Kings on Friday night at Moda Center in Portland, Ore. Rudy Gay’s shot to tie the score fell short just before the final buzzer. The Kings have lost two in a row. DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings with 33 points. Gay had 29 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.

Turning point: Meyers Leonard gave the Blazers the lead for good with two free throws for a 121-120 advantage with 32.1 seconds left in overtime.

X-factor: The Kings gave up 25 points off 15 turnovers while scoring just 13 points off 13 Portland turnovers.

Records: Kings 4-7, Trail Blazers 6-4
