Kings end 2-game skid amid injuries, technical fouls

Rudy Gay and Ben McLemore both leave the game in the first half with injuries, but the Kings rout the Los Angeles Lakers 116-92 behind 31 points and 16 rebounds from DeMarcus Cousins. There are six technical fouls called on the Lakers and one on Cousins, who leads the NBA with nine.

Kings’ 3-point defense remains a concern

Entering Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers at Golden 1 Center, the Kings were 25th in 3-point defense, allowing opponents to make 36.7 percent beyond the arc. Their 10.5 makes allowed per game are tied for second most.
