KINGS (21-41) AT HORNETS (28-34)

THE PARTICULARS

Where: Time Warner Cable Arena

Time: 4 p.m.

TV/radio: CSNCA, 950, 1140

THREE KEYS

1. More defense: The Kings have allowed their last four opponents to shoot better than 50 percent, so it’s no coincidence they have a four-game losing streak.

2. Easy for the opponent: The Kings have given up more than 20 points off turnovers in every game during their losing streak. If they allow the Hornets that many points because of their mistakes, they likely will lose again.

3. Get physical: In Monday’s loss at Atlanta, the Hawks shot only seven free throws (making four) but still scored 130 points because the Kings didn’t get close enough to them to warrant foul calls. The Kings must be aggressive defensively and not let Charlotte score as easily as the Hawks did.
