Player of the game: Robert Covington led seven 76ers in double figures with 24 points as Philadelphia overcame an 18-point deficit to win.

Turning point: After the Kings took a 73-55 lead, their biggest of the game, the Sixers outscored them 33-11 over the final 8:46 of the third quarter. Ish Smith also came off the bench (10 points, nine assists) to spark the Sixers in the third.

Key stat: The Kings gave up 27 points off 18 turnovers.

X-factor: That the Kings could not capitalize on a big advantage inside. DeMarcus Cousins had 39 points and a career-high 24 rebounds, but the team did not make the most of his game.

Records: Kings 22-42; 76ers 15-50

Injury update: The Sixers sat veteran guard Jason Richardson for rest because they play Brooklyn tonight.
