Kings blow 21-point lead, lose to Wizards 113-97

Player of the game: John Wall had 31 points and 12 assists as Washington erased a 21-point third-quarter deficit to win its third consecutive game.

Turning point: Former King Ramon Sessions gave the Wizards their first lead, 89-88, on a three-pointer with 10:11 to play.

Key stat: In the second half, the Kings scored only 33 points on 10-for-35 shooting.

X-factor: Washington reserve Rasual Butler scored seven points in the fourth quarter and finished with 14 points and five rebounds.

Records: Kings 22-43; Wizards 38-28

Injury update: The Kings’ Rudy Gay missed the game because of a left knee strain. The Wizards’ Nene was not with the team for personal reasons.
