Player of the game: DeMarcus Cousins sank only 8 of 27 shots, but he converted 17 of 19 free throws and made several key defensive plays late as the Kings won their third consecutive game. Cousins finished with 33 points, 17 rebounds, four steals and four blocks.

Turning point: Cousins stole the ball from Hollis Thompson with 1.2 seconds to play when the 76ers had a chance to win.

Key stats: The Kings committed just 10 turnovers that resulted in only nine Philadelphia points, helping Sacramento overcome 36.1 percent shooting.

X-factor: Former King Thomas Robinson had a career-high 16 points and eight rebounds off the bench.
