Kings win their fourth in a row, 108-99 over Phoenix

Player of the game: DeMarcus Cousins had 24 points, 11 rebounds and three assists to lead the Kings to their fourth consecutive win. It’s their longest winning streak since a five-game run Oct. 31 to Nov. 7.

Turning point: The Suns cut a 13-point deficit to 92-87 with 4:50 to play. But Ben McLemore answered with two three-pointers to help the Kings hang on.

Key stats: Sacramento held Phoenix to 43.7 percent shooting and forced 18 turnovers. The Kings overcame 19 turnovers, eight in the fourth quarter.

X-factor: Rookie Nik Stauskas continued his recently improved play, scoring 13 points in 18 minutes.

Records: Kings 26-45; Suns 38-34

Injury update: The Suns were without guard Brandon Knight (sprained left ankle).
