KINGS (26-45) AT PELICANS (37-34)

THE PARTICULARS

Where: Smoothie King Center

Time: 5 p.m. TV/radio: CSNCA, 950, 1140

THREE KEYS

1. Watch the weak side: Pelicans forward Anthony Davis can make a difference blocking shots, so the Kings’ shooters have to be conscious of him even when he’s not in their sights.

2. Attack Asik: If the Kings can get New Orleans center Omer Asik in foul trouble, the Pelicans will be without their best defender against DeMarcus Cousins. And that would free space for Cousins and Rudy Gay.

3. Keep passing: The Kings had 27 assists in their win at Phoenix. That mindset has to continue for the Kings to win their fifth consecutive game, which would match their season high.
