Player of the game: Mike Conley led four Memphis starters in double figures with 18 points as the Grizzlies ended a three-game losing streak.
Turning point: The Kings never led, but they cut a 16-point deficit to 78-70 with 9:02 to play. The Grizzlies answered with a 13-5 run and handed the Kings their second consecutive loss.
Key stat: The Kings’ 83 points were their fewest since scoring 83 Jan. 16 in a loss to Miami. Sacramento also failed to surpass 100 points in back-to-back games since losses to San Antonio and Portland on Feb. 27 and March 1.
X-factors: Kosta Koufos had a game-high 12 rebounds to go with eight points off the bench for Memphis. His effort early on the glass helped the Grizzlies establish their lead.
