Kings assign Jackson, Papagiannis to the Reno Bighorns

The Kings have assigned center Georgios Papagiannis and forward Justin Jackson to their G League team, the Reno Bighorns, the team announced Friday.

Jackson, a rookie from North Carolina, has appeared in 27 games this season with five starts. He is averaging 5.4 points and 1.8 rebounds in 17.3 minutes. Jackson has played in four games for Reno, averaging 17.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.8 steals and 37.3 minutes.

Papagiannis, a second-year center from Greece, averages 2.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 7.8 minutes in nine games with the Kings. Papagiannis is averaging 4.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, 1.3 steals, 1.7 blocks and 29 minutes in six games with the Bighorns.

Reno hosts Northern Arizona on Friday at the Reno Events Center and hosts Salt Lake City at Golden 1 Center Sunday.

The Kings host Denver Saturday.
