Kings center Willie Cauley-Stein had an MRI Friday that showed a deep bone bruise in his right knee. He will miss the next two games and be re-evaluated.

Cauley-Stein was injured when his knee made contact with the knee brace worn by Miami center Hassan Whiteside during the Kings’ 89-88 win over the Heat Friday night at AmericanAirlines Arena.

X-rays on Cauley-Stein’s left foot and ankle were negative after he tweaked it during the second half of the game.

The Kings play at San Antonio on Sunday and at New Orleans next Tuesday.

Cauley-Stein is averaging 12.4 points and 6.8 rebounds this season.
