The Kings reportedly have reached an agreement on a buyout with guard Joe Johnson, who was acquired from Utah prior to the trade deadline.
Johnson, 36, is a seven-time All-Star who plans to sign with the Houston Rockets, according to multiple reports. He was part of the multi-team deal in which the Kings sent George Hill to Cleveland.
The buyout leaves the Kings with 14 players on their roster, leaving one spot to sign a player.
