Kings restricted free agent guard Isaiah Thomas has several suitors as free agency kicked off at 9:01 p.m.
Boston, Dallas, Golden State, Miami, Detroit and Phoenix have all expressed interest in Thomas according to a league source.
The Kings extended a qualifying offer to Thomas last week, so they can match any offer sheet Thomas might sign with another team.
Thomas is coming off a career season in which he averaged 20.3 points and 6.3 assists in his third NBA season.

Those statistics haven’t changed the feeling among many NBA observers that the 5-foot-9 Thomas is better equipped to come off the bench for a team rather than start.
The Kings did not meet with Thomas Monday night, but general manager Pete D’Alessandro said last week the Kings would be “aggressive” in their approach to Thomas in free agency.
The Kings could also still re-sign Thomas or agree to a sign-and-trade with another team.
