The Kings have reached an agreement with forward Caron Butler on a two-year contract, a league source confirmed.

Butler, 35, played for the Detroit Pistons last season.

The 6-foot-7 small forward played in two All-Star games (2007-08) when he was with Washington and played for the Dallas when the Mavericks won the 2011 NBA Championship.

Butler, selected 10th in the 2002 draft by Miami, has averaged 14.3 points for eight teams during 13 NBA seasons. Last year, he averaged 20.8 minutes and 5.9 points.
