PHOENIX The Kings rallied in the fourth quarter and completed their comeback with DeMarcus Cousins watching to win their fifth straight game, 114-112, in double overtime over the Phoenix Suns Friday night at US Airways Center.
The Kings are 5-1 for the first time since the 1999-00 season. It’s the first time the Kings have won five in row since the 2006-07 season.
Cousins fouled out in the fourth quarter on an offensive foul in the fourth quarter. He finished with 25 points and 18 rebounds.
It was Rudy Gay who gave the Kings the lead, 113-112, in the second overtime with 1:07 to play, overcoming a bad shooting night. He shot 5-for-22 to finish with 11 points.
