Kings guard Darren Collison was ruled out for tonight’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans at Smoothie King Center.

Collison (left quad contusion/muscle strain) is the second starter ruled out. Rudy Gay is out with right Achilles tendinitis.

Ramon Sessions will start for Collison. Omri Casspi will start for Gay.

Kings coach Michael Malone indicated Gay could use a few days of rest. That would mean no Gay tomorrow night at Houston.
