Kings’ DeMarcus Cousins hospitalized

Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins will be out with a viral infection through the weekend.

Cousins was admitted to the hospital Tuesday for rest and to be re-evaluated after attempting to get ready to play against the Toronto Raptors.

Cousins is expected to return to the court next week.

The Kings’ center posted this from his Twitter account: “Back home from hospital finally! Thank you for all the messages and prayers”
