Player of the game: Charlotte guard Kemba Walker scored 25 of his game-high 39 points in the fourth quarter and overtime as the Hornets overcame a 22-point second-half deficit to stun the visiting Kings 127-122 Monday night.
Turning point: Jeremy Lin made a step-back jumper with 43 seconds left in overtime to give Charlotte a 122-118 lead, and the Hornets led by at least three the rest of the way.
X-factor: Charlotte’s bench sparked the comeback. Lin had 14 points, Cody Zeller 12, Jeremy Lamb 11 and rookie Frank Kaminsky nine.
