Isaiah Thomas leads Celtics over Kings, 114-97

Player of the game: Boston point guard Isaiah Thomas took it to his former team, finishing with 21 points, nine assists and six rebounds as the Celtics defeated the Kings 114-97 Thursday night in Mexico City.

Turning point: The Kings were out of sorts from the opening tip as the Celtics raced to a 32-17 lead. Sacramento finished the first half with a season-low 36 points.

X-factor: Center Kelly Olynyk scored 21 points off the bench for Boston.

Records: Kings 7-13, Celtics 11-8

Key injuries: Kings forward Omri Casspi missed the game with a stomach illness.
