Kings, DeMarcus Cousins shut down by Dwight Howard in 120-113 loss to Rockets

Player of the game: Dwight Howard had 22 points, 18 rebounds, two steals and two blocks, and had some good defensive moments against DeMarcus Cousins as the Rockets defeated the Kings 120-113 Saturday night at Toyota Center in Houston.

Turning point: The Kings led 103-101 with 5:05 to play. Then the Rockets outscored the Kings 19-10 to close the game.

X-factor: The Rockets got much of their offense at the free-throw line. Houston attempted 43 free throws (making 32) while the Kings attempted 13.

Records: Kings 7-14, Rockets 10-11

Key injuries: Center Willie Cauley-Stein (open dislocation on right index finger) is out four to six weeks and missed his first game with the injury.
