Player of the game: Swingman Andrew Wiggins scored a game-high 32 points to go with 10 rebounds and six assists to lead Minnesota to a 99-95 victory over the Kings on Friday night at Target Center, ending Sacramento’s winning streak at three.

Turning point: Wiggins gave the Timberwolves a 91-90 lead with 2:03 left in the game on a drive to the rim. He scored eight of Minnesota’s final 12 points.

X-factor: Minnesota outrebounded the Kings 49-31. That helped Minnesota to a 16-7 advantage in second-chance points.

Records: Kings 10-16, Timberwolves 10-16

Key injuries: Willie Cauley-Stein (dislocated finger) remains out for the Kings.
