1. Find Cousins: The Kings’ biggest advantage is at center, where Mason Plumlee won’t be able to contain DeMarcus Cousins one-on-one. Former All-Star Brook Lopez is coming off the bench and doesn’t have the speed to deal with Cousins.
2. Find the right tempo: The Nets average 96.5 points. The Kings cannot get so wrapped up in playing fast that they allow the Nets to get going by not getting back on defense.
3. Bench power: Ramon Sessions (lower back strain) is doubtful, so Ray McCallum will be counted on to lead the second unit. The Nets bring Lopez and Deron Williams, another former All-Star, off the bench.
