The Kings lost more than a game today at TD Garden.

During the 106-84 rout by the Celtics, center DeMarcus Cousins was ejected with 4:31 left in the fourth quarter after an altercation with Boston’s Marcus Smart. Cousins slung Smart to the floor after the guard tried to box him out by going at his legs.

Cousins was called for his second technical foul of the game on the play. Smart also picked up a technical foul.

The Kings, who have lost nine of 11 games, shot just 36.8 percent.

Jared Sullinger led Boston (11-18) with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Evan Turner had a career-high 11 assists for Boston.

Carl Landry and Darren Collison each had 14 points for the Kings (13-19).
