Kings blow late lead in second OT, lose to Mavs 117-116

Player of the game: Deron Williams made a corner three-pointer at the second-overtime buzzer to give the Dallas Mavericks a 117-116 win over the Kings on Tuesday night at American Airlines Center. The Kings led 116-109 with 1:20 left in the second overtime, but Dallas closed with an 8-0 run.

Turning point: Leading 116-114, the Kings had a chance to seal the win, but Darren Collison shot an airball that led to a shot-clock violation with 2.3 seconds to play.

X-factor: JaVale McGee came off the bench and energized Dallas with a season-high 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Records: Kings 14-21, Mavericks 20-15

Key injuries: Rajon Rondo (lower back spasms), Omri Casspi (upper back soreness) and Willie Cauley-Stein (lacerated right middle finger) sat out for the Kings.
