Kings routed by Detroit Pistons to end road trip

The Kings finished their four-game road trip 1-3 after a 114-95 loss to the Detroit Pistons Sunday at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

The Kings shot 42.7 percent while allowing the Pistons to shoot 49.5 percent, led by Brandon Jennings with 35 points. That’s the most points scored by a Kings’ opponent in a regulation game this season.

The Pistons (10-23) have won five in a row and swept the season series 2-0 with the win.

DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings (14-20) with 18 points and 15 rebounds, but made only five of his 17 shots. Rudy Gay had 12 points, but made only five of his 16 shots. Darren Collison had 17 points.
