Kings vs. Hawks

THE PARTICULARS

  • Where: Sleep Train Arena
  • When: Thursday, 7 p.m.
  • TV/radio: CSNCA, 1140
  • Records: Kings 17-23, Hawks 25-17

THREE KEYS

  • 1. Feed off the crowd: Both teams will be in the second of back-to-back games. The Kings have had some duds at home, so Thursday would be a great time to feed off the home energy for a good start.
  • 2. Contain Teague: Jeff Teague was an All-Star last season but was injured when the Kings lost at Atlanta in November. If he’s allowed to have a big game, the Kings will be in trouble.
  • 3. Stay with shooters: The Kings cannot allow Kyle Korver and the Hawks to find their rhythm from three-point range. That means being aware of Korver at all times and contesting shots from beyond the arc.
