One game after one of their best defensive showings, the Kings allowed the Denver Nuggets to score 64 points in the second half and coast to a 118-108 win Friday at Sleep Train Arena.

The Nuggets shot 55.3 percent for the game and had six players score in double figures.

DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings (15-21) with 32 points and 13 rebounds but that wasn’t enough to overcome Denver (17-20) which won its fourth consecutive game, led by Ty Lawson and Arron Afflalo, who both had 22 points.

Rudy Gay had 22 points for the Kings. Darren Collison added 15 points and seven assists.
