Player of the game: Manu Ginobili, who missed the previous 12 games recovering from testicular surgery, scored a season-high 22 points in 15 minutes as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Kings 104-94 Saturday night at AT&T Center.

Turning point: The Spurs opened the third quarter with a 12-0 run to lead 69-54, effectively ending the Kings’ chance to become the first opponent to win at San Antonio this season. The Spurs are 30-0 at home.

X-factor: The Kings committed eight of their 21 turnovers in the pivotal third quarter.
