Players of the game: New Orleans’ backcourt of Jrue Holiday and Norris Cole made big plays to help the Pelicans erase a 17-point deficit and defeat the Kings 115-112 Monday night at Smoothie King Center. Cole had 23 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Holiday had 20 points and 10 assists.

Turning point: After trailing the entire second half, the Pelicans took a 111-110 lead on Dante Cunningham’s three-pointer with 35.9 seconds to play.

X-factor: The Kings committed 24 turnovers that led to 22 New Orleans points. Sacramento had seven turnovers in the fourth quarter.

Records: Kings 25-37, Pelicans 24-38

Key injuries: The Kings’ Seth Curry (sprained right foot) missed his fifth consecutive game.
