Without Cousins, Kings’ skid grows to four after loss to Magic

Players of the game: Orlando forward Aaron Gordon had 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Magic to a 107-100 victory Friday night at Sleep Train Arena. The Kings have lost their last four games.

Turning point: Orlando used a 15-4 run to break open the game and give the Magic a 95-81 lead with 6:52 to play, capped by two dunks by guard Victor Oladipo.

X-factor: Playing without suspended center DeMarcus Cousins, the Kings were outrebounded 51-37. Orlando backup center Jason Smith matched his season high with 16 points without Cousins to worry about.

Records: Kings 25-39, Magic 28-36

Key injuries: Kings guard Ben McLemore (right ring fingertip non-displaced fracture) missed his second consecutive game. Orlando was without starters Elfrid Payton (sprained right elbow) and Nikola Vucevic (right groin strain).
