Kings vs. Pelicans

THE PARTICULARS

  • Where: Sleep Train Arena
  • When: Wednesday, 7 p.m.
  • TV/radio: CSNCA, 950, 1140

THREE KEYS

  • 1. Work on Holiday: Jrue Holiday hurt the Kings in the teams’ last meeting, getting 20 points and 10 assists. Containing him must be a focus.
  • 2. Rookie on Ryan: Kings rookie Willie Cauley-Stein needs to stay close to Ryan Anderson on defense. Anderson is a power forward who likes to shoot the three-pointer, so Cauley-Stein can’t sag off too much in transition.
  • 3. The full 48: The Kings are 0-3 against New Orleans this season partly because they have had long stretches of ineffective play. They need more consistency to beat the Pelicans.
