Kings vs. Suns

THE PARTICULARS

  • Where: Sleep Train Arena
  • When: Friday, 7 p.m.
  • TV/radio: CSNCA, 950, 1140
  • Records: Kings 27-44, Suns 20-51

THREE KEYS

  • 1. Turnovers: Carelessness has hurt the Kings all season. If they continue to commit turnovers, Phoenix will capitalize for easy baskets.
  • 2. Booker’s emergence: Phoenix guard Devin Booker has become one of the league’s best rookies. He had 28 points and seven assists in Wednesday’s victory over the Lakers. Chasing him off the three-point line will be important.
  • 3. Protect the paint: The Kings gave up 62 points in the paint in Wednesday’s loss at Minnesota. They should do better if center DeMarcus Cousins (bruised right knee) returns, but reducing turnovers and fast-break points would help, too.
