Player of the game: DeMarcus Cousins had 20 points, 12 rebounds and five assists in 28 minutes as the Kings posted their second consecutive blowout win at home, 133-111 over the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday at Sleep Train Arena. The Kings shot a season-high 62.2 percent and didn’t trail for the fifth time this season.

Turning point: The Kings pulled away in the second quarter, outscoring Dallas 38-26.

X-factor: Sacramento’s bench came up big with five players scoring in double figures, led by Willie Cauley-Stein’s 21 points. The bench scored a season-high 72 points.

Records: Kings 29-44, Mavericks 35-38

Key injuries: Kings guard Marco Belinelli (sore right foot) was out. Dallas guard Deron Williams (left abdominal strain) was not with the team.
