Short-handed Kings fall to Portland 105-93

Player of the game: Allen Crabbe had 21 points off the bench Monday night as the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Kings 105-93 at Moda Center. The Kings, who rested starters DeMarcus Cousins, Rajon Rondo and Rudy Gay and had only nine players available, had a two-game winning streak halted.

Turning point: Trailing 68-52 at halftime, the Kings saw any chance at a comeback disappear when the Trail Blazers opened the third quarter with a 15-5 run.

X-factor: Portland was hot from three-point range, making 14 of 29.

Key injuries: The Kings’ Marco Belinelli (sore right foot) missed his second consecutive game.
