The Kings will be short-handed again Thursday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the next-to-last NBA game at Sleep Train Arena.
According to the team’s injury report, center DeMarcus Cousins and point guard Rajon Rondo are out for “rest.”
Marco Belinelli (sore right foot) and Omri Casspi (right hamstring strain) also are listed as “out.”
Cousins missed Saturday’s victory over Denver to rest and Friday’s loss to Miami because he was serving a one-game NBA suspension after being hit with his 16th technical foul in last Wednesday’s victory over Washington. Cousins, fourth in the NBA in scoring (27.1) and fifth in rebounding (121.6), has missed 14 of the Kings’ 78 games.

Rondo, who leads the league in assists (11.7), also missed Saturday’s game to rest. Cousins and Rondo also missed the March 28 loss to Portland for the same reason.
The Kings host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday in their final game at Sleep Train Arena before moving to the downtown Golden 1 Center next season.
The Kings’ final two games of the season are on the road, Monday at Phoenix and Wednesday at Houston.
