Player of the game: Miami forward Chris Bosh had 30 points and a team-high seven rebounds to lead the Heat over a Kings team that looked sluggish at times.

Turning point: The Kings failed to capitalize on a slow shooting start by Miami. The Heat shot 38.1 percent in the first quarter but still led 26-22 and then found its rhythm on offense.

Key stat: The Kings had 15 turnovers that led to 17 points for the Heat, which routinely struggles to score.

X-factor: Luol Deng provided some needed scoring with Dwyane Wade out with an injury with 25 points to go with six rebounds and four assists.

Injury update: Rudy Gay (left knee capsule sprain) and Carl Landry (right wrist sprain) did not play. Wade (left hamstring strain) was out for Miami.

Up next: The Kings (16-23) host the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday.
