Kings game plan vs. Phoenix Suns

KINGS (17-32) VS. SUNS (29-23)

THE PARTICULARS

Where: Sleep Train Arena

Time: 6 p.m.

TV/radio: CSNCA, 950, 1140

THREE KEYS

1. Slower is better: Phoenix is built to play at a frenetic pace. The Kings will be in trouble if they try to match that style, so they need to exploit their size advantage with Suns center Alex Len (ankle) sidelined and run opportunistically.

2. Guard production: The Suns rely on Goran Dragic, Eric Bledsoe and Isaiah Thomas to provide offense. The Kings will need more from their guards, especially with Darren Collison dealing with a strained right hip flexor.

3. The bench: Thomas is one of the best bench scorers in the league. The Kings’ bench has struggled to hold leads most of the season.
