The Kings have now lost 11 of 12 after shooting 39 percent in a 102-90 loss to the Utah Jazz Saturday at EnergySolutions Arena.

The Kings have shot below 40 percent in three of the last five games.

Sacramento began the game missing 10 of 12 from the field and never got going.

Kings center DeMarcus Cousins said Utah, “outhustled us at the end. They were more physical than us. They just flat out out-played us.”

The Kings have been reeling for some time. The Kings are 6-19 under Tyrone Corbin and haven’t won consecutive games since a three-game winning streak Nov. 20-25.

“It’s pretty confusing, honestly,” Cousins said when asked about the mood of the team. “It’s all over the place. There is no excuse. I have been saying that. There is no excuse.”

That the Kings are in talks with George Karl to take over as coach has the Kings facing the possibility of a third head coach this season.

“We have to come in everyday, block out the outside distractions and do our job. Be professional basketball players. Regardless of what is going on, come in and do our jobs every night.”

Corbin wasn’t happy with the effort he saw in the first quarter, when the Kings fell behind 25-15.

They never led and would trail by as many as 23 points.

Corbin said the Kings need to “keep fighting” even with all the chatter.

“You can’t quit, man,” Corbin said. “You can’t feel sorry for yourself. Whatever it is that’s going on, you got to play the game. You got play the game with a lot of energy. You got to play the game with a lot of effort and try to get all the other stuff off your mind so we can just perform. That’s the only thing you can control.”

Cousins had 27 points and 10 rebounds for Sacramento (17-32).

Gordon Hayward led Utah (18-33) with 30 points. Utah shot 50 percent.

The Kings play Phoenix Sunday at Sleep Train Arena.
