Kings can’t keep pace in third quarter, lose to Bulls

Turning point: The Bulls blew open a tight game in the third quarter, outscoring the Kings 27-15. Gasol had 13 points and eight rebounds in the third.

X-factors: Tony Snell came off the Chicago bench to score a career-high 24 points. He made 9 of 11 shots.

Injury update: Kings guard Darren Collison missed his third game because of a strained right hip flexor. Kings forward Derrick Williams sprained his right ankle when he tripped over a cord during pregame warmups. Chicago All-Star guard Jimmy Butler did not play in the second half because of a strained right shoulder.
