Stanford’s Ty Montgomery among 65 prospects attending 49ers’ local pro day | The Sacramento Bee

From Adams State to Oregon State, 65 prospects from 30 different schools will work out for 49ers coaches and scouts today. To be eligible, players either had to attend a local university -- such as Stanford or San Jose State -- or have grown up within 45 miles of the team facility.

A trio of Stanford players -- defensive end Henry Anderson, receiver Ty Montgomery and safety Jordan Richards -- are expected to be among the first local players taken in the draft, which begins April 30. Two others likely to be drafted, Stanford cornerback Alex Carter and Fresno State receiver Josh Harper, who is from San Jose, will not attend.
