Injury report: Vernon Davis, Anthony Davis limited; Gore, Willis added to report

Both Vernon Davis (ankle) and Anthony Davis (hamstring) were limited in practice today. Reading the tea leaves, Vernon Davis seems likely to play in Sunday’s game against the Cardinals. Anthony Davis might be slightly less so considering he missed all of the preseason (shoulder surgery), then suffered the hamstring strain as the regular season was beginning.

Patrick Willis sat out practice with a wrist injury while Frank Gore was added with a back issue. He practiced in full.

Rookie center Marcus Martin (knee) warmed up with his teammates but did not go through practice.
