SANTA CLARA -- The 49ers head into their short-week game against arch rival Seattle with three starting offensive linemen hurting: left guard Alex Boone has a shoulder injury, left tackle Joe Staley is dealing with a knee issue and right tackle Erik Pears is new to the injury report this week with a back issue.
This is the third week Boone and Staley have been on the report. Both have missed practices though neither has missed a start.
They, along with receiver Anquan Boldin (hamstring), who was injured on a deep, fourth-quarter catch, were listed as “did not participate” on today’s report. Of course, the 49ers did not practice Monday but they still were required to file a practice participation report because of their game on Thursday.
They did hold a walk-through session. Running back Carlos Hyde (foot) and safety Eric Reid (chest) were among those listed as limited. Both briefly left Sunday’s game but returned. Boldin sat out the 49ers’ final offensive series.
