SANTA CLARA -- Carlos Hyde missed his third practice of the week Friday and was ruled out for Sunday’s game, the fourth straight contest he’ll miss with a stress fracture in his left foot.
The original plan had been for Hyde to return to practice the week after the 49ers’ bye and possibly play against the Seahawks. Hyde, however, felt soreness in the foot and didn't practice last week or this week. Hyde’s injury, a so-called Jones’ fracture on the side of his foot, usually is treated by surgically inserting a screw into the foot.
Shaun Draughn is likely to make his third straight start at running back Sunday against Arizona.
Outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks missed Wednesday's and Thursday's session after complaining of concussion symptoms after Sunday's game. Brooks was back at practice Friday while wearing a blue, no-contact jersey. He is listed as questionable.

If he continues to show progress and passes a contact simulation test he could suit up against the Cardinals. If not, either Eli Harold or Corey Lemonier would start at outside linebacker with Tank Carradine perhaps filling in on passing downs
