Dream falls to Querrey, Washington in WTT

Sam Querrey beat Tennys Sandgren 5-2 in the last set, lifting the host Washington Kastles over the California Dream 19-17 on Monday in a World TeamTennis match.

With California’s loss, the Austin Aces (10-2) clinched the top seed in the Western Conference. The second-seeded Dream (8-5) will play at Austin on Thursday for the conference championship.

California will end the regular season on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. against the San Diego Aviators (4-8) at Dream Stadium at Sunrise Mall.
