Ty Blach leads River Cats over OKC

Ty Blach pitched eight shutout innings, and Juan Perez homered as the River Cats beat the host Oklahoma City Dodgers 7-3 Wednesday night.

Blach (5-5) allowed eight hits, struck out seven and walked none. He lost his shutout when Corey Seager led off the ninth with a double and scored on O’Koyea Dickson’s single.

Jake Dunning then replaced Blach and gave up a two-run homer to Andy Wilkins before retiring the next three batters.

Perez led off the game with a homer, his third. He also singled in a run in a three-run ninth that included Kevin Frandsen’s run-scoring double and Casey McGehee’s RBI single.

Travis Ishikawa had a two-run single for Sacramento, which finished with 11 hits.
