New Elk Grove councilman hosts community meetings
New Elk Grove councilman Darren Suen will host a series of community meetings this month.
Suen will chat with residents, answer questions and provide updates from city staff at the meetings 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight at Wackford Community and Aquatic Complex, 9014 Bruceville Road; 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Elk Grove Regional Park Pavilion, 9950 Elk Grove-Florin Road; and 6:30 to 8 p.m. Feb. 26 at Laguna Town Hall, 3020 Renwick Ave.
Suen represents the city’s Laguna area. He was appointed in December to serve the final two years of former councilman Jim Cooper’s term. Cooper vacated the seat after he was elected to the state Assembly in November.
