Firefighters knocked down a restaurant fire late Wednesday at Folsom’s Palladio shopping center.

The blaze at Petra Greek restaurant, 230 Palladio Parkway, sparked just before 11 p.m., Gold Country Media reported.

Folsom and El Dorado Hills fire crews found the fire in the restaurant’s kitchen and were able to quickly extinguish the blaze, according to the report.

No one was hurt in the incident. The restaurant was closed at the time.

Firefighters’ quick response limited the damage and Petra was expected to reopen in a couple days, Palladio general manager Gloria Wright said Thursday.
